Two Antique Paintings 19th Century - 1800's Raimondo Scoppa Rare Art in Aberdeen, Aberdeen City for sale

For sale are two paintings by legendary Italian painter Raimondo Scoppa. Both paintings may be described as seascapes or 19th century Italian ports. The paintings are roughly 45cm by 27cm, though they were measured while in there fames; it is a close approximation of their size though. The precise year of execution is not known, but it is definitely prior to the 1890's, when the Artist died.The paintings are oil based. Unfortunately, the previous owners didn't take the best care of such delicate peaces of art and, as such, there is paint chipping, which can be seen in the photographs. The chipped areas show small bits of exposed canvas, though there is one exposed area on the ship's sail in the first painting that is a bit central. Due to the imperfections, the asking price is much lower than usual Scoppa paintings. There are signatures on the bottom right of each piece that spell out "Scoppa". You can find previous sales of Scoppa's paintings by searhing the 'invaluable' website. Scoppa's paintings are also featured on major auction house websites, such as Dorotheum & Sotheby's.
